This was our first time at this hotel and it was absolutely beautiful. The room was very spacious and clean; excellent breakfast with free drinks and snacks in the evening.
The room was really clean and the staff was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was good but I guess my expectations were slightly higher because it was an Embassy Suites and it was just okay. The bar was nice and we really enjoyed the evening reception.
I cannot say enough good about Embassy suites. It is an absolutely beautiful hotel! The hotel rooms are huge and very comfortable, the amenities are beyond wonderful, and the staff cannot be any kinder.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
All staff were super nice and helpful. Breakfast was not what we were used to at embassy suites of our past but was still better than most hotels.
We checked in late but things we needed were promptly and friendly delivered. We loved our stay.

There was paid parking and I have visited this location over the years same parking area is now paid parking not happy about that. The staff was very nice and helpful. The building is older and you can see the wear and tear on it now
Convenient and safe location very close to UAB; quiet, large clean rooms, great complimentary breakfast. Will book stays at this property in the future.
Really enjoyed the complimentary drinks at the bar & breakfast. The advertise balcony is about 1.5 foot wide. Which wasn’t a big deal, just would have enjoyed to sit outside in the mornings. My only complaint really would be regarding the cleanliness of the room. We had fruit flies inside the coffee maker. We had put it outside the room to try and get rid of them in the room, but we had issues with them the entire time. Also, there were dead bugs on the floor along the wall & someone’s dirty under wear hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Other than that, our stay was fine.
The location was good, peaceful for family and convenience for restaurants. Parking was charged separately. The room was bigger than usual hotel at the same price. The options of breakfast were not very much, but it’s ok for usual days.
The staff was really helpful and accommodating. The hotel, however, needed some upkeep. The shower in our room was missing tiles, water from the shower was extremely hot and was hard to adjust, floor would flood when showering, and beds had hair in the sheets.
My daughter and I were there for college orientation. Every member of the staff we encountered was so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the facility itself was very nice. I have already decided that this will be my go-to hotel for trips to visit my daughter at school. Go Blazers!
