「Staff were friendly. The hotel boasts they are connected to the UAB Hospital but it is connected to the parking garage accessible from outside. The parking garage takes you to the hospital. The room we stayed in was in need of repair and maintenance came the evening before we checked out. There is no microwave in the room but there is a dinky one in the ice machine area sitting on a shelf that looks like may slide off, no table to sit your food on and wonder if it is clean. 「From the moment walking in to the moment I checked out, staff was amazing, my room was clean, the bar downstairs was amazing! Drinks were good. I stayed for a concert and this was the best choice.」

「Our Rooms weren't ready for checkin, the staff told us it would be 30 min. 2 1/2 hrs later the room still isn't ready and it was too late to find another hotel. I had to get dressed in the lobbys bathroom for a concert along with many others whose rooms weren't ready . We were all paying for a room we weren't allowed to use when we desperately needed to. The staff offered no compensation ,discount or assurance, merely shrugged their shoulders. 」
