" Not fancy kind ,of old school. Very clean wonderful mattress, cold air. Very impressive for the looks of outside not a dump its a strip motel i stayed on back side from office quiet. Cheap and convenient "

"I have never stayed a lodge before, this was my first experience and they knocked it out of the park! Very nice rooms, very spacious, clean, if I could’ve stayed longer I would have for sure, the atmosphere was also inviting and serene to take in the wilderness from the rocking chairs on the porch. Staff is very friendly and helpful "

The breakfast was good and nice not to have to go out for breakfast. Definitely will be staying again, as we have family in Monticello and they o my live 5 minutes from the hotel. "

"The grounds are very clean with a beautiful lake view. I stay here every year while fishing the lake."

"Everything was top notch from check in to departure. Phil upgraded our room so we could get a better view of the lake which was amazing. The restaurant had a great view of the lake and was priced very reasonable. We will be planning another trip to this location in the future."
