"Good place good food "

"The Royal Sonesta San Juan was absolutely beautiful and easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. You can tell they genuinely care about making sure guests have a great stay. The location is honestly hard to beat. You have direct beach access, so within minutes you can go from your room to having your feet in the sand. The beach is gorgeous, and the pool area is also really nice, especially with the swim-up bar for drinks and snacks while relaxing. The breakfast buffet is definitely worth adding on, especially if you’re traveling with kids or a big family. It stays open until 12 PM, which was a huge plus for us since we weren’t rushing to wake up early every day. There was a great variety of food with plenty of options for everyone. We booked through Expedia and got an amazing deal, which made the stay feel like an even better value. Valet parking was also worth it for the convenience. One thing I loved about this hotel is how close it is to everything. It’s only about 15 minutes from SJU airport, so getting there was quick and easy. Old San Juan is a short Uber ride away, and La Placita is nearby if you want nightlife or food. I also highly recommend taking a quick Uber (about 15 minutes, around $10) to Loíza for more authentic Puerto Rican food and culture instead of paying resort or tourist prices. "The hotel was enormous, it has tons of amenities and lots to do. Only drawback was that things were very far apart so lots of walking. Our room was large and beautiful, we stayed in the 2bedroom regal suite, perfect for families. However, the food was disappointing, especially for being so expensive. Seafire Steakhouse was our favorite restaurant on the resort and worth the money, otherwise Shake Shack was most reliable and tasty. "

"Nice property, isolated from any town. Quiet, pretty. They tend to play music—sometimes loudly—at the pools and restaurants, so be forewarned if you are someone who prefers quiet. Staff are super nice and helpful; extremely welcoming."
