While out a staff member came into our swim up room, took a Coors light beer out of the mini fridge and left the empty can in the room. The bed was “made up” with dirty stained sheets… When pictures were provided to substantiate these events the hotel “did nothing” and intact we could not rest lay down/ rest in our room because it took literally 3 hours for someone to come and provide clean linens. Also while changing out of my swim suit, I hear voices on our private patio— I looked it was a staff member removing our patio furniture because another room needed the chairs… Absolutely crazy set of events, and the hotel offered no compensation and even with pictures ( we still have them— dirty stained sheets and empty beer can ) absolutely nothing was done!! I simple can not recommend this place in good conscience.

Beach area was clean and had enough chairs ,water was nice and clean. Pool area did not enjoy it was not heated not even the jacuzzi, and did not find chair, not enough towels and only one place to get one. Staf service was great from the man side but the female servers were rude and not polite on coffe area and buffet area. Food was okay , we enjoy the circus show , beach white party and the dancers.

Staff was generally not very friendly, not enough staff for the volume of guests. Most dinners we would go without ever getting a drink. The resort is dirty, bug infested and in serious need of repair. The beer was very inconsistent and seemed they were ditching old skunk kegs towards the end of the evenings. Cockroaches everywhere (falling on us at dinner) ordered room service multiple times and it never arrived, 4 days out of the 7 I was there we did not get towels after maid service. They took the old and left us none. We had a large group of 8 rooms and it seemed they did this to everyone. I am guessing there was not enough towels to rotate out for everyone so every day a selected few got screwed over. Called maintenance to my room because the refrigerator did not work on day 1 nobody ever came to look. I took maybe 1 evelvator the entire trip as 90% of them don't work. If you struggle with stairs or walking STAY AWAY. For the most part the food was lack luster with the exception of a few dishes. The pools were nice, the beach towel exchange is a joke. The price for mid shelf booze is insanity. The beach was unkept compared to other hotels along the same beachfront. The high pressure sales tactics on the time share and the for sale amenities like spa wear very thin by the end of the trip. Why build a new hotel when your current is in a serious state of disrepair.

Serenade is the perfect getaway for couples and families. The resort is large with an abundance of room. There is never a time when a pool chair is unavailable. The food was fantastic. The buffet had lots of variety and the restaurants were fabulous. The resort was very clean. Rooms were huge. We will be back!

Don’t stay here. While staying at the serenade punta Cana beach & spa resort I noticed that the overall cleanliness of the resort was unacceptable. The towels from the room were so dirty they looked gray instead of white. The faucet and shower were covered with a green substance that appeared to be mold or rust. The shower head, walls and towel rack were rusty. The bed sheets did not smell fresh and the filth continued throughout the entire resort. The bars in the lobby have a brown ring around them from spilled drinks and dirty shoes. The hotel cleans the exterior of the pool with its own water.. letting the dirty water drip back into the pool. There are dogs and cats roaming around which is cute until you‘re dodging feces in flip flops. The service and hospitality only exists during breakfast, at dinner I had to get my own water and the first night couldn’t get a reservation. The reservation portal does not work and room service closes at 5. I’ve never written a review but this stay was so bad that it would be a disservice not to leave one.

Food service needs a serious upgrade. Food was cold no matter the time of day. The only place we had hot food was hibachi. There were a few staff members that were wonderful, others were rude and not friendly. The resort itself could use a big update. You definitely see the wear and tear of the resort. I personally would not return to this resort again unless some big changes were made.

Our over all experience was good. It was our first time at an all inclusive resort at Punta Cana. Pools , entertaiment, activities inside resort were great and enjoyable.

Room was nice, service/staff were great and very friendly. They were very accommodating and made my stay feel nice. As far the actual resort, there is absolutely no casino. I do not know why they advertise themselves as a resort and casino, but there is not one on sight. So I felt tricked by that. The pools close at 7pm which in my opinion is entirely too early. I believe they do that so you upgrade your room to the swim out pool. The bars stay open late, and there is a disco club, however, after the pool closed at night we found ourselves to be very bored. We brought a deck of cards and used that as entertainment. If you are looking to just relax and soak up sun then there shouldn’t be any issues, but if you’re looking for “fun” there really is not a lot going on at this resort. You are kind of far from local spots compared to other resorts. We did excursions on one day and we were first to be picked up and last to be dropped off since we were the furthest from everything. It’s not the end of the world if you don’t plan on leaving, but something to consider. Get to the buffets early and the food will be good. There is a mix of different things to eat, just wish there was more dominican/hispanic food. If you go later food may be room temp and not as enjoyable, which we experienced. Overall I would give it a 3.5/5. Not terrible but nothing worth returning to in my honest opinion.

"The hotel has well-furnished rooms, making for a comfortable stay. However, unfortunately, the towels leave much to be desired: they're old and thin, and they only provide one per person, which is inconvenient. The staff is friendly and helpful, which is a plus. However, the kitchen can sometimes be problematic, especially at breakfast—we encountered flies on the food, which significantly spoils the overall experience. The hotel beach is good and fenced with nets, which adds to the safety. Overall, I give it 4 stars."
