Highly recommend for a relaxing yet fun stay. The buffet food is really tasteful and the bartenders and servers are really friendly and polite. I would definitely come back to this resort for a get away.

We had a great time at the Riu. The staff was great and the food was good. The only disappointment was they did run out of tequila for two days and the rooms are outdated but overall it was good. The beach was beautiful. And it’s easily walkable to the Atlantis next door. They also have restaurants within walking distance.

Pool, Food, Drinks were good. Staff at front desk were extremely rude and not accommodating at all. Every other staff member was great except them. They would be the reason my entire party of 10 would not return

1. The room we paid for was not what we got. The description was "superior ocean view." We were given a partial ocean view. 2. The buffet had the same food every night. 3. There was no ATM, gift store at the hotel. 4. The food was not hot, it was luke warm.

This hotel is definitely not what is expected of a RIU hotel! Upon check on one room was to be 2 beds. The beds were together and had to rearange all the furniture in the room. Several times throughout the trip the mini bar was never replenished including bottled water. One time houskeeping left empty toilet paper on the holder and never replaced, never replaced the towels but took the old ones. Half of the days spent there the room was barely cleaned. Floor still had sand on it. During our stay they decided to power wash and repaint the building exterior, horrible sitting on the beach getting hit with paint chips and water spray from the power washing all day for 5 of the 7 days I was there! The beach was never cleaned up either. Restaurants were ok but not much variety of food. The buffet had the same stuff every day! No themed nights for food. You also need to figure out what to do about the birds at the Jerk Hub because it is disgusting sitting eating and having seagulls flying over you with food picked from garbage dropping on your plate or getting pooped on. Bar staff was just ok, drinks were never made the same! Many were bad and had to be thrown out. Bar staff also let guests control the music and most of the time had to listen to the same bad music all week! One day the bar pool was black and stuck bad. We watched it happen at 7am. They shocked it rubbed the walls down by 1pm let people back in without changing water. Disgusting and gross!

I like the service the employees are very friendly. I really like the lady on the front desk La Linda. She was very helpful Customer service is amazing. She help us every time. We stop by the front desk .

This adult only all inclusive hotel had a warm welcoming etiquette. Clint, the bellhop, is the best though. He was extremely friendly and helpful. So many thanks to him specifically. The buffet offered a variety of food that was fresh and tasty. The only issue we had was with our room, but we understood, it’s an older hotel so the AC was not the greatest. The room had a strong mildew odor and there was no ventilation, therefore it caused the entire room to be wet, including the floor. We had to walk very carefully as we got ready for the day’s events. Other than that, we had a great stay.

The staff at the facility is outstanding! The facility itself is going through some updating so it was understandable. Some of the restaurants could improve on the food, the buffet was much better. The staff at the resort is really what sets it apart!

Wait time for the elevator can be better. Elevators are to slow. Every night about 2 in the morning it feels like the AC unit is not working. Use something with a scented fragrance when mopping the floors. Smell like they are using old water.

So much was awful. Our first room was a disaster. On floor 15. It smelled awful and was so filthy my bare feet turned black while unpacking. The sliding door to the walled in balcony (couldn’t see the great view if you sat down) didn’t open/close properly risking our getting stuck outside on the top floor where no one could hear or see us. The room was freezing and we shivered all night. This resort is LOUD. EVERYWHERE. If you want to just party hearty then have at it. If you want a peaceful, tropical environment don’t go here. If you want shade on the beach don’t go here. If you want to enjoy some nice quiet music at the pool as you relax with a book don’t go here. The DJ blasts the music at top volume while the other pool right next to it blasts their music simultaneously. That 2nd pool is the swim up bar pool. If you think you can actually swim in it, forget it. It’s full of tables. It’s a bar in water. And it reeked of beer. I told my spouse, “Have a good look around while we’re here because we’ll never see THIS place again. (Adria in the spa is terrific.)

Other than two pools and drinking not much to do. Could be a good long weekend, but an extended stay beyond that found us a bit board with the same ole. The food is good, and the staff work hard, but many have poor attitudes and look like they simply do not enjoy their jobs. I am sure dealing with drunk tourist is not always fun.

If you’re looking for all adult, all adults inclusive, quiet, beautiful place to relax, then this is the place! If you want more, Atlantis is only five minutes away and five dollars per person in a taxi cab. If you want to go to Nassau, it’s only $10 per person on a taxi ride. Downtown was beautiful. Lots of shopping and beautiful restaurants. You can always book a trip to the nearby islands for even more unique and fun activities. I loved it!
