「The room was disappointing and could use some attention to maintenance and housekeeping. There was peeling paint, the toilet paper holder was broken , and the coffee that was used was not replenished daily. The shower also was not properly cleaned. The patio door was another issue- the handle fell off, the door was difficult to open, close, and lock/unlock. 「Conveniently located near the Old Charleston Market, the Meeting Street Inn is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. We paid $25 per night to park in their shared lot two blocks away which we found to be a tremendous bargain in the area. Hyman's Seafood is a block away and is fabulous! My only disappointment: we didn't encounter a ghost.」

「When we first opened the door the odor was unreal, it smelled like a wet dog. The TV was half blacked and maintenance said it was one of the rooms that TVs was ordered for but we could not even see the icon used to turn it on he told us to scroll to the left several times then hit ok and it would work. The room overall was very clean the bed was comfortable and breakfast was good.」
