"Be warned!!! Nothing to do with the property but more of the area of Rolling Meadows! The doors to the rooms are from the exterior and there is some kind of chemical in the air during the nights where the rooms can start to fill up with this chemical smell. I’ve closed the door to the bathroom thinking it was chlorine from the water supply but that is not the case. The bathroom would smell by the AM if you have it closed overnight. Other than this issue of weird chemical smells at night, my stay was good. Great location! Has an ice skating rink just up the road, quiet area but you have the highway just outside so would depend on where your room is located. The hotel staff are great! Do an internet search for “weird chemical smells overnight in rolling meadows”. This issue has been happening for over a year without authorities finding a source. Best of luck to those who work in this area and for the staff + motel guests and residence."
