「We have stayed at the Barcelo Palace resort for the last 15+ years. The resort is very well maintained and the Palace pool is the largest I have ever seen in person. You never feel crowded as there is a lot of space to move around between the swim up bar, bubbler, and lounging cabanas. Our rooms are always clean and the air conditioning works wonderfully. 「Beautiful place with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were kept very clean Half of the resort was under construction ( probably because it was off season) and it made it tough to book reservations for restaurants. As they warn, there is lots of seaweed on the beach in the summer. The workers worked so hard to get rid of it but it was impossible. Most pools have swim up bars and there is lots to do! Public bathrooms are kept very clean!!!」

「The property was smaller than I'm used to, but it made it easier for getting around. I appreciated being a preferred guest because I was able to go to the other side of the resort where there's a pool to eat and drink at the water. There was also a jacuzzi there which was pretty cool. the food is honestly mid. I didn't come back with extra weight because the options weren't endless and the buffet hall is but so big. The game room is hot af, no AC at all so you get hot playing pool or ping pong....
