"Great location, our room was very big, lots of windows, very comfortable beds. A fully equipped kitchen area with a gas stove. And they give u beach towels. Great staff. We felt safe there, because the doors are locked at all times and even though at night the staff is not there, u can only enter the hotel by putting a code in."

"The area was not bad for being in LA overall. The parking garage is very secure so no concerns when it came to worrying about the car. Only issue I had with the room was my shower drained very slowly. 5 minutes into a shower and the water is at your ankles. It was quite and slept pretty good. I would definitely come here again."

"Great budget motel near Venice beach. Hidden from the main road. They are in the middle of renovating rooms and improving the property. Across from in n out burger. Good staff. "

"This was an up and down visit. Obviously renovating. Pics on website are deceiving. first room was dingy and unappealing. The AC went out after the first day. First we were told he would get maintenance out the next day cuz there were no other rooms. then came to our room asking when maintenance can come and if not fixed we WOULD get a different room. by 2pm Maintenance had not shown, day desk rep didn't know if they would, but they did give us a new room. This room was so much better. It was the same style room, but it was brighter, more refreshed feeling, better bed, bigger fridge. And I don't know why hotels cannot offer more, or even better placed, electrical outlets. There are just never enough. Lobby upstairs is airy and bright and clean. But they only offer coffee. Maybe they could get some vending machines for snacks and drinks at least. Also, there was only one garbage can in the bathroom for the entire room. "

"The room is 5 stars, very clean with an amazing beach view, the sound proof is amazing, was able to sleep in no interruptions, the amenities are great, and common areas look beautiful in the lobby and outside courtyard "

"We went to the hot tub at 8pm and the outdoor bar wasn’t open and there was no one outside. This was on a Friday, which was weird. There’s some restaurants on the same street you can walk to but we chose to Uber to get to something that fit our vibe. The Ritz is definitely for the mature crowd. However, the room was immaculate, clean, and every staff member was extremely polite/pleasant/professional. The view from the marina-front rooms was incredible. The step to get out to the balcony was a bit high though so use caution. We really didn’t have any issues that needed the staffs attention. But I don’t think this hotel was the right fit for my husband and I. "
