On the plus side, the room was as the picture described. It was clean, and I felt like the mgmt cared about their guests and giving them a good experience.
On the negative side, there was some woman coughing outside my window much of the first night. I had to go out early the next morning and saw a young woman sleeping on the ground a few feet away, presumably the same person.
The wall unit air conditioner did not maintain a constant temperature--it either blasted cold air or you had to turn it off and let the room get warm, so you're constantly turning it on or off to be comfortable.
Sound from adjacent rooms was an issue, much more so than in a hotel.
The final night of a three night stay the toilet kept running and the tank would not refill unless I manually pushed down the seal inside the water tank.
Though it is a little spruced up visually and kept clean, it is a one-star motel, and I probably would have been happier at one of the nearby two-star hotel chains that were similarly priced.
