The size of the room was really big, with a fantastic layout. The cleaning service was fantastic- we stayed for a week, and the room always looked clean and tidy upon our return from outtings. Because there was never parking available nearby, we had to would’ve gotten five stars, but was missing two key items - a microwave, and extra blanket. I am sure I could’ve asked for another blanket, so the real downfall was lacking a microwave .

Fun and lovely beach view in the view rooms, also entertaining to spy on the alley full of local fauna. Remember that Venice is busy, active, and noisy! View rooms will not be quiet little hideaways. Staff is friendly. Restaurant here is to die for!

Hotel charges $40 per night for amenities which the advertise as included. (Beach supplies, etc.). Definitely not worth it. The bikes are in bad shape and you’ll wish you had paid more for a good one.

Very clean, stylish room. Spacious, comfy beds, clean bathrooms. Really liked the fact we could get beach towels, beach chairs and a beach umbrella for the day. Great location surrounded by fun restaurants. The canals are 10 minutes away and Abbot Kinney Boulevard was a short walk away as well. Breakfast was decent as well if you don’t mind muffins and yogurt parfaits. Eggslut is next door if you need a more substantial beginning to your day. Staff is great. Would definitely stay here again. The teens loved it.

Oh my Goodness. We loved this hotel. It was retro remodeled. It was located in the perfect spot on Venice beach. The view from our top floor room was beautiful. We also visited the rooftop restaurant for lunch one day. We ran to the rooftop to see the sunset over the ocean one evening. The Erwin is the tallest hotel with the best sunset view on Venice Beach. The hotel offered bikes for use, tennis rackets, volleyballs, conhole, sunscreen, coolers, paddle tennis equipment and toys at no charge. We took the bikes for a ride to Santa Monica (my favorite place on earth). We rode round trip a little over 3- miles. The biking path and walking path are wonderful. The riding path is well-kept, safe and wide. The hotel is adorable. Our room was exactly how we imagined it. The free breakfast was beyound how we imagined it would be. The offerings were healthy, fresh made, and served with hospitality. We loved breakfast. Usually free breakfast means, danishes, friut and cheap coffee. No, we were offered premium coffee, delicious eggs, sausage, fresh-squeezed orange and grapefruit juice, freshly-made waffles, and fruit. This was a pleasant surprise. We normally go out for breakfast or pay for breakfast at the hotels we stay at. This free breakfast was hearty. The staff that served us was wonderfully friendly. The concierge was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He is the man in the know. He was so pleasant to speak with every morning and afternoon upon our return.

My wife and I were duped by Expedia. The hotel as a whole was in poor condition. The carpet and couch in the room was very dirty and at end of life. 1 cleaning would not refurbish. All of the hallways had a nasty smell. I was deceived by the pictures on Expedia web. And the price. Over $700.00 us. Please don’t become a victim.

On the Expedia ad, it offered shuttle service from the airport which was ideal for us and the reason we opted to stay. Then found out they don’t. They were aware that it was on the websites as an option and the woman said they needed to change it but it hadn’t been addressed.
