"Enjoyed my three night stay at the French Market Inn! Great location, walkable to lots of restaurants in the French Quarter and even beyond. My room faced the courtyard and it was very quiet at night, didn’t hear any chaos from the city. The courtyard was one of my favorite aspects as it provided a peaceful place to rest and reset. I had a petit queen room and it was small- perfect for solo travel or with a partner but might be a little too cozy for friends, just something to keep in mind! "

"The Wyndham location is excellent if you’re staying in the French Quarter. The staff is very friendly and quite knowledgeable about places to go, food to eat, and tourist experiences in the New Orleans area. The Wyndham has a “beverage bar” which we did not really use because you need to bring your own container/cups, and the choices were not anything we were interested in. It was convenient to have Mr. Ed’s restaurant adjacent. We would have cocktails in the evening before heading out to a nice dinner. We ate breakfast there one day and it was good. The wait staff and Mr. Ed’s was phenomenal. The room was clean, although our shower and sink took an inordinate amount of time to get hot water. The knob on the bathtub was loose but functional. There’s not much counter space in the bathroom, but the overall hotel room was nice and large. Our room provided us with an Our room provided us with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee/tea pot. Overall, we had a nice four-night stay. "

"We didn't eat at the hotel and never saw an opening at the bar, but we came and went a lot and the doormen were very friendly. The room was elegant and very clean. Real down pillows! The location was very central. We walked everywhere for 5 days."
