「Check in was difficult. Had to contact Expedia. Our apartment was on the 5th floor with no elevators. The instructions didn’t mention a second stairs path in the building so we took all the luggage to the 5th floor in the wrong apartment. Then had to go down again and up again another 5 floors to the right one. When we finally got to the apartment we were dying for a shower, hot water wasn’t working. 「The check in process is truly dreadful. Very small print on the Expedia booking instructing the person booking to contact the proprietor 48 hours before arrival as they don’t have a reception. Why on earth are they not emailing the customer?! Why is the paying customer being asked to seek them out for the privilege of entering a property they have paid for?! 「The location in a piazza and walking distance to many areas of the City was great. The property management company communicated well and were pleasant and the property was clean and accommodated us well. However it was fairly bare-bones, and there were some maintenance issues and only one key with this one key also required to control the lights so that was a bit challenging. Overall, the location, size of the unit and proximity to different sites worked very well for us.」
