「Comfy room, generous towels.
Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service.
There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. A real asset to the Old...

「We stayed in an upgraded room which was fantastic except the shower pressure was diabolical.
Breakfast was amazing, bed was really comfortable, staff were wonderful.
We stayed in a non upgraded room a day before this stay and the shower was amazing but the room was really tired. Again the bed was super comfy and brekkie wonderful.

「Cleanliness was excellent, no restaurant for most of my stay. Walls in room are paper thin, so can hear everything in next room!
