「If you’re disabled or just an older guest beware the rooms have not been reviewed by an appropriate person. I found the bathroom a death trap. No grab rails in the shower but the worst was the slippery floor in the toilet with nothing to grab onto when struggling to arise from the toilet. My husband had to help me but not before on making an attempt my feet slipped and I finished up with a nasty fall and a now painful back.
At 2am I had to ring reception I was frozen- the radiator didn’t work...

「Nice hotel good facilities could do with updating and redecorating throughout, nails in the wall where pictures have been taken down but not replaced, no towels ready at the spa she said she’d bring some in but we ended up having to go out and ask for some, paint needing touchups and general aging, et cetera. Lovely grounds and breakfast was average.」

「Well situated. Hotel felt a bit dated but we got a good rate so I guess that reflects it. Staff were friendly but service a little slow and inefficient. We had two rooms for our family. My room was fine but the second room the shower didn’t drain and flooded the bathroom which was a nuisance. I slept perfectly well but it would have been nice to be able to change the temperature- the panel in my bedroom didn’t seem to work. Rooms were clean but looked like they could do with a refurb. 」

「We just had a standard double room, I was suprised how nice it was for the price.
The hotel itself is lovely, such a beautiful place.
There are a few animals outside to feed, an outdoor bar area. The bar inside is great and reasonably priced. The food is AMAXING 」
