「Key card didn’t work in the outside door but someone heard knocking and opened the door」

「Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling.」

「I have a 3-5 on service. All the staff that I interacted with were very helpful and professional. However, the housekeeping was not good. I was only there for 2 days. On the first day, my room was not cleaned, despite housekeeping being right outside the room when I left for the day. On the second day, the room was cleaned but the amenities (tea, coffee, etc.) were not replenished. Clearly no quality checks by the housekeeping management.」

「Spacious room, large bathroom with good shower. Carpet marked, tea / coffee table did not match, looked like it came from a junk shop. Food was good & reasonably priced. Restraunt service could be slow at times.」

「The Village Inn is in a beautiful setting. Plentiful parking, easy and quick check in and able to book a table for dinner. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was a too firm for our liking but that was a minor detail. Dinner was delicious and great value. Good choices for breakfast - we had cereal, juice, poached egg on toast and tea. Service was great. Our visit was really good value.」

「Lovely hotel. Immaculately clean and decorated. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and of a good standard. Ample parking and well located. Efficient and friendly staff. Highly recommend this property.」

「We stayed for one night as a stopover on the way North and were very happy that we picked this Inn. The room was quite basic but perfectly adequate for our needs and in line with the price point. We had an evening meal in the bar area which was very good with generous portions and we were served by a lovely young lady who was very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was nothing short of excellent with good quality ingredients, perfectly prepared.」

「Just stayed here last week very easy to find plenty parking. Check in straight forward the young man very friendly. Some minor faults with rooms. We had 2 rooms . Both kettles in rooms had bad limescale so never used them .the teabags looked like they had just been thrown in a pile on the dresser Bathroom towel instead of being white had a massive blue stain on .bed sheet was dirty. .you could hear the traffic outside but to be expected as on main road. I think for value for money...

「Had a two night stay in Room 1. Staff all friendly and helpful. WiFi was on the blink.so not available on our room. They said they needed to fix it. Room was spacious. Lovely bathroom but lighting in both room and bathroom could be brighter. Water hot but found controls on shower difficult to adjust. Tea making facilities all good but I brought my own herbal tea - only standard tea available. Small bottle of still and sparkling water provided.」

「Great price for the stay. Came in June thought so our room was very hot. The ceiling fan didn’t work so the room was very hot. I brought this up at check out and they just said thanks. The breakfast was amazing and the team friendly. The spa looks great in places and tired in others. Car charger was an absolute bonus before my long trip home!」
