"I had a very average stay. And a very average experience. I had paid for a 2 bed “all inclusive” and I felt nickeled and dimed at every turn. At check in, I was pulled into a room by a salesman to pay another $140 for my guest to drink and dine. Later in the night I was returning from the beach and was approached by staff. They warned me about a “$300 smoking and vaping” fee. And I was getting a warning. Real vibe killer. Then I checked my credit card statement and saw I was charged $150 for non replaced room keys. Decent property and location but for the extra $300 I would have stayed somewhere nicer. I spent the rest of my vacation at xcaret. They never disappoint."

"The property is well-kept and beautiful. The staff is helpful and polite. Unfortunately, like other Caribbean resorts the sargassum is terrible. Fortunately there were many great pools to choose from. We will be back with our grandsons next year. "

"The family suite was a great room for a stay with children. The murphy beds were comfortable enough for the kids and the king bed was great for the parents. The staff were great, juan the server at Los Moreales was great offering the best service we experienced. Geo and Danna at the kids club became quick staples to the kids trip always offering some diverse activities when a break was needed from the pool and beach. The staff was always welcoming and never felt pushy or rude. They were genuinely interested in making our stay enjoyable. The food was great, especially the restaurants with reservations, the buffet was solid and themed every night... all around a fantastic resort. Highly recommend it, will be back! "

"While the Hotel was great there are a couple of things to consider. 1 - this hotel has only one pool and there is loud house type music playing all day, if you like a quiet time at the pool this isn’t for you. 2. There is a lack of sun-beds and although they had signs saying no reserving nobody took any notice. 3. Although it is a small hotel they allow day visitors so the pool area gets very busy. 4. The hotel advertises 3 restaurants and the rooftop snack bar but some nights there would only be 1 restaurant open and others only 2. There was never a time when you had a choice from all 3 restaurants. This being said we had a great time, the food and drinks were good and the access to 5th avenue and all the bars and restaurants was excellent."
