「I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). 」

「The room smells clean as you come in, always a great start. Spotlessly clean. Rooms are ensuite with a little kitchen area, all decorated differently. We had a little table to eat at as well. Chocolates and home made Welsh cakes with milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Self check in with a pin code key box. Building felt secure. Great views of the hills from the top room.
