"​If you are looking for a resort that perfectly blends luxury, culture, and natural beauty, Hotel Xcaret Arte is truly in a league of its own. It is a massive, stunning property, and I highly recommend staying for at least a full week to actually maximize the experience and enjoy everything available. ​The Culinary Experience ​The food here is on another level—all-inclusive is definitely the way to go because every meal feels like a premium experience. ​Tah-Xido: The Hibachi was absolutely amazing and a must-do for dinner. ​El Mercado de San Juan: While the variety is great, the desserts here were a personal favorite. ​The Service: Across every single restaurant, the servers were amazing. In fact, the entire staff was incredible; the housekeeping team, in particular, did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless. ​The Resort & Amenities ​The beauty of this resort is almost hard to describe. It is very large, but every corner is visually incredible and the amenities are top-notch. One of the coolest features is the art classes—being able to take a pottery or painting class right on-site adds a unique layer to the vacation that you don't find elsewhere. ​Excursions ​You cannot stay here without taking advantage of the excursions. The trips to Chichén Itzá and the cenotes were highlights of the trip—well-organized and breathtakingly beautiful. ​Final Verdict: It’s a beautiful, expansive resort with fantastic staff and world-class food. If you can swing a seven-day stay, do it."

"Everything was good except for 2 things : 1) we went the last week of April and the seaweed at the beach was so much 2) a dinner reservation system was horrible, we arrived on a Sunday and immediately went to guest services to book our dinners for the week. The problem is nearly all of them were booked up for the week already even though this is during off-season, which was really surprising. We were able to get in at three of the restaurants during the weekday we had but the earliest reservations were at 9:30 PM. It’s ridiculous that you cannot book dinner reservations before your arrival. The pools were amazing though! "

"Meals at the buffets were all wonderful. 3 are open for breakfast and lunch. One is open for dinner. We could not book reservations at other restaurants but they only had -4 tables being used. Could keep beach buffet open for dinner and be able to make reservations at check in. Pool could be open till 2200 for adults. The rooms (jr suite) was large, cool, comfortable. Beyond expectations! The staff All fantastic! Cart driver Eric showed us how to get around. Playa and pools Fantastic!! Clean, lots of space. Snorkel by rocks. NO seaweed. Just lovely. "Rooms were small but clean. Staff was extremely friendly. The entertainment staff I wish you remembered our name and was extremely nice. Actual if you stay for seven days, the guaranteed reservation at two restaurants otherwise it was buffet style.. pretty much the same thing every night it said they would change out one or two things. There were six in our group and five of us had diarrhea for 4 to 5 days six days were there I ended up getting strep throat… we spoke to valet about ordering pizza and they told us that yes we can have plenty of pizza delivered there so we went to the front counter to order the pizza and the management told us we could not yet when we left today people had pizza delivered… employees were extremely nice … we do not make everything forever. It would be nice to have a variety of different types of food on a daily basis instead of the same buffet."

"I had a terrible experience with Expedia and Hard Rock Hotel Cancun. I accidentally booked the wrong Hard Rock property, then realized my group was at a different location and booked the correct one. This left me with two reservations for the same night. Within minutes, I contacted Expedia to cancel the incorrect booking and request a refund. After multiple follow-ups, I was told the hotel did not respond, and I was stuck paying nearly $600 for a reservation I booked by mistake. Expedia said there was nothing they could do because the hotel wasn’t cooperating. This is extremely frustrating. I acted immediately to fix an honest mistake, yet neither Expedia nor the hotel helped. I feel completely let down and will think twice before booking through Expedia again."
