"So beautiful "

"I had stayed at this property before when it was operated by Omni hotels. It's clear that the property has not been maintained to the previous standards, but it is still an acceptable place to stay. On the positive side, the staff were extremely friendly, and tried to be helpful. However, unlike a normal hotel, there is nobody on staff after hours, so if you have an issue, it won't be resolved promptly. When I checked in, my room has lots of little ants everywhere, including running around on the bed. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain, and the water pressure in the shower was a slow dribble. The plumbing fixtures were all leaking, and were clearly hadn't been maintained. When I reported these issues, the staff were attentive, and tried to do what they could, but didn't actually resolve any of the issues. Luckily, the ants weren't the biting variety, so rather than switch hotels, I decided to deal with it. On the plus side, the pool area is very well maintained, the property is clean, and the drinks, food from the pool bar were good. I didn't try any of the other restaurants on the property. The AC in the room was excellent, as was the wifi. There were 3 significant power outages during the week I was there, ranging from 3hrs to 7hrs, and this was the whole area, not specific to the hotel. The reason I'm mentioning it, is that none of the emergency lighting in the hotel worked when the power was out. This means no light in the staircases, hallways, etc."

"We had such a great experience staying here. One of the best resorts we’ve stayed at (we’ve stayed at quite a lot). The food was great, the beach was beautiful and well kept, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The whole place had a really relaxing vibe and everything was very well organized. A restaurant that stuck out to us was the hibachi restaurant ! Such a cool experience with delicious food we highly recommend everyone try to have a dinner there. There’s also a paint your own pottery (a little expensive) but well worth it! Such a fun activity to do and something to bring home that you made yourself! “Strikers” is a 24 hour bar spot that has pool, bowling, arcade games and mini put. Some of it was pricey but again it’s worth the fun in our opinion It was one of those trips where we have no complaints! Definitely a 5/5 stay and we’d absolutely return. "

"Staff is extremely helpful and aim to please. Although often appears to be hoping for a tip. Rooms design are frustratingly inefficient. Not enough drawer space, a useless armour that had no rod to hang anything, and no shelves or drawers. We kept out shoes at the bottom. . Not enough hooks to hang robes or wet towels. Bathroom has no drawers at all so all of your toiletries have to be kept on the counter. Housekeeping appeared to loose interest in us as the week progressed. The special snacks were only restocked the first four days No more M&Ms or pringles chips . I suppose that’s just for the newbies! "

"Excellent location. Facility was clean and well maintained. The amenities in the room were a disappointment. 3 hangers 2 small towels the kitchen chair literally fell apart. The outside chairs on the patio were extremely uncomfortable the bedsheets did not fit. They were very quick to fix chair and tend to the AC. "

"This place was great! Honestly, we read the bad reviews of this place too, and I would fully defend against them and/or didn’t agree with them at all. I would say the negative ones say more about the reviewer than the resort. The room was perfect for what we needed, and the staff was professional, hardworking, and sweet. The food and drinks were very good, and the nightly entertainment you’d be lucky to see! I will recommend this place, and come back some day for sure! "

"When booking this stay I did not know it was an apartment and asked for a refund because l was traveling solo and did not want to book an air bnb. The owner denied me of my refund stating it says it in the booking, but it did not state this info. Also they did not provide any face towels. I was told they lived next door. For sanitary reasons and since they live close I did not think getting a face towel would be an issue and was told they aren't a hotel (which I thought l had booked). They advertise the pool in the photos, but you do not have access to it staying in room number one. The walls are very thin and l could hear all the noise from the neighbors and could not sleep. I left after the first night because of the noise. I went on vacation for peace and quiet, but this was not the right place for that. The place was clean. The location is good. From past reviews the owners will have a rebuttal, but this is my honest opinion. This was not the stay I was looking for. "
