"I had an extremely frustrating experience at the La Quinta in Charleston, especially with the cleanliness and maintenance issues, as well as the way the management handled the situation. They charged me for parking I didn’t use twice and charged me the incidental charge that was just to be put on HOLD in case of incidentals. The room and premises smelled like marijuana. There was no remote in the room. The sheets and pillows were stained. There was mold in the bathroom. The bathroom curtain would not close and looked disheveled. It was a horrible experience. NOT A TRUE REPRESENTATION OF CHARLESTON ALL! "

"It really not a walkable location to downtown. Everything is a lift or burner ride! Staff was super but the conditions here are not too great. Back up at front desk Rooms not ready for check in at 4.00 Housekeepers can’t speak or understand English The employees do go out of their way to help "

"We enjoyed our stay. It's in a very busy area, but the pool area was serene. The staff was very nice and the room was clean. We could hear guests in other rooms flush the toilet or take a shower, but it wasn't overpowering. We were right beside a busy highway but the windows were insulated enough to where we could barely hear the cars. Overall, very pleasant experience. "
