"Our room wasn’t cleaned every day, they did leave clean towels but didn’t clean the room, make the bed etc…not a lot going on at this hotel. "

"They overbooked so I didn't get the room I had reserved. Said they were going to give me a strip view and we had a view of the rear of hotels not a strip view. All they would offer for the inconvenience was a late check out which we did not need since we were leaving early on the day we checked out. No coffee pot in the room. "

"All the major characteristics were excellent or very good. Restaurant was especially convenient and reasonably priced. Staff friendly and welcoming, especially my maid who made a point of cleaning my room during the hour I spent at breakfast. And, you can’t beat the midtown Manhattan location, particularly if you’re traveling by train."

"We really liked our stay at the Grove! Had a few hiccups in the room (broken toaster, tv not working properly) but the staff was very accommodating and was super quick to fix things for us! Really liked the spacious rooms, the pools, the arcade and the water park! Our bed could have been a little more comfy but otherwise we were very happy with our room and our overall time at the Grove!"

"Was chaotic while checking in. The hotel definitely is not prepared to handle large crowds and the elevator system takes forever for a large number of requests. The rooms are good for NYC standards and the bar was nice."

"They have let go of all the bellmen. So now you have to deal with all of your own luggage. They have let go of all the valet staff. Now you have to park and find your own car. They have let go of 75% of the check in staff. Now you have a kiosk to interact with and then you receive a text and then you print your own keys. I felt like I needed a badge cuz I felt like I worked here. Not a fan of the new process. What happened to old Vegas and the service? It’s definitely not here at Excalibur. "
