Not clean bath shower was so dirty, lamp shades dirty we had to move the bed over to put a cot under bed was trash , pills , and water leaking in refrigerator and onto floor

It was right on the beach which was great! The staff was also wonderful! But it is a basic sea side motel, dirty and small. It definitely needs updated. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on, rooms were tiny, we had 2 queen beds and we couldn't open the door fully bc the bed was in the way. If you want a relaxing beach hotle, this isnt the one, if you want a party place, this is for you! The walls are thin. We were next to the ice maker, which was the party spot between 2-4 am, and it was a loud ice maker too. The lights on the walkway were so bright right next to the window. The blinds didnt shut enough to block out the light. I would highly reccomend this place for spring break goers!!

The pictures in the website make this hotel look updated and new. We had 2 rooms. This hotel is not worth what the price would reflect. The first, the toilet did not flush so we were moved to a new room. The second had mold visible on the old bedframe. The chest accent furniture was in bad shape. The room had a funny odor. There is no view from the room. It really needs to be renovated. We have stayed in other area condos and hotels for less that were in much better condition.

A good affordable option to stay right on the beach in Charleston. It’s basically an upscale motel so nothing fancy about it, but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable

The parking garage was great with beach access we could go back and forth to our car for beach items instead of dragging everything onto the beach . The website was a bit misleading on the sitting area for the beach view , at the end of property facing ocean was picnic tables not rocking chairs which ended up being nice we had some lunches out there . Some good cleaning would be beneficial in our room the vent in the bathroom had lint and lots of stuff hanging down from it falling off into the floors causing fan not to run good like it was stopped up , there is no literature in the rooms about the area or places we could eat which would be nice to have had some info . The room was really small for price the bed is right at the door it's very hard to get stuff in and out the door . Location though was perfect and staff were all very friendly and the salt water taffy treat upon checking in room was adorable ! We would stay again

On the plus side, it was very close to beach, walk to end of the hall and you're right there. It was also clean, no odor or bugs. But... the window had blinds, but no curtain and there was a light on outside the window all night, it was like trying to fall asleep in the middle of the day. We had a very hard time trying to sleep. Loud bar across the street with band playing to 10:00 each night. The room is small! The light for the bathroom is on the outside of the door, which means whenever someone wants to use it, the blinding light goes on first right in the face of person laying in bed 3 feet away. The decor of this place is delapidated 1950 style. And there is no pool, regardless of what the web says. It's a 4x8 concrete hole on the 3rd floor, a real joke. Cleaning changed used towels after 1st night, but not the 2nd.

The staff and rooms were great. I love staying here because of its convenience to the beach and the areas around it. They do have outdoor concerts at the Windjammer next door which is another reason I love staying here. A few of our pillow cases were dirty on the back side but other than that, the stay was perfect. I would stay here again.
