「We found tiny bugs under a pillow and on a sheet, which made us wonder when the bedding had last been changed. We were concerned they might be bed bugs, but fortunately they weren't. Someone had also left a cigarette and ashes on the patio table. Other than that, the property was clean and well maintained. The lady at the front desk was friendly and informative. We also appreciated being able to use the BBQ grill at Idyllwild Inn, even though we were staying off-site at Strawberry Creek.」

「I stayed here in the 70s and decided to give it a try on this trip, traveling with my dog. The property is typical mountain cabin-ish , quiet and great views of the trees. It’s nothing fancy. Maybe in the 70s I thought it was fancy. There are several cabins to choose from with different sizes and layouts and for the tail end of this road trip having a refrigerator and microwave in the room was nice. Overall, I would stay here again.」

The property was so well maintained and the decor was so nice. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The only, only thing we had an issue with was the pool.. it’s a beautiful pool but not sure if the filter was working because there were a bunch of bugs in it so we didn’t want to swim.
