"We loved our stay at the Hakuba Tokyu Hotel! We only had 2 nights in the area but wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the Happo One Gondola (and other ski resorts if necessary) and to the train station - very helpful! It is in an excellent location - close to the Happo One Gondola and plenty of places to eat. We ate in the hotel itself and the food and service were excellent. The onsen was incredibly clean and relaxing. We would definitely recommend this hotel...

"Quite possibly one of the hidden gems of Hakuba Goryu. If you want the true Hakuba local experience and taken back in time, this is your spot. No frills and feel like you are staying with your relatives. Amazing hosts that go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. As for proximity to Goryu base, we walked it back (10 mins) at the end of every day so it’s very close. "It’s a cosy, cute little place to stay in! Just remember to bring your own towel if your fussy otherwise you only get a very small, thin towel to clean yourself with after the shower! But the service was great and the owners are a cute couple who are always helpful! "

"Stay was amazing ! Mr Fukushima was so kind - he helped us with discounted lift tickets, picked us up from the train station and took us grocery shopping. Location was right at the Iwatake gondola. Please note the unit is in traditional Japanese style - sleeping on the floor with Japanese pillows (very different to western pillows). Highly recommend !"
