「Great slice of cabin in the woods humble abode. Clean and warm. You will need a car with AWD and snow tires if visiting in the winter. Beware though, there are monkeys in the woods and they come out in the warm late afternoon. While they're incredible to see, they're smart so keep your food close, snap some pictures and steer clear of them. 」

「This place was incredible! We loved our stay so much that we are going to visit again at a time we can stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the slopes were right at the doorstep with a ski school for kids and sledding too. Transportation was available to take us to dinner at other places. The restaurant on site was exceptional, the breakfast was so good each day and then we had dinner with live music and had the most wonderful night. Highly recommend!」

「Service was excellent and great location. It's a 5 minute walk up to the base of Goryu. The family run pension is extremely helpful and some of the best food we had in Hakuba. The dry room has lots of room for gear, onsen was hot and vibes relaxing.」
