「In a lovely historic building set within pleasant grounds, especially as the wisteria was in flower. Very helpful staff, lovely room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was perhaps a little disappointing- dry basic with little choice of healthy cereal or cooked food if you are vegetarian. Overall very good though.」

「My visit was an absolute pleasure to be there, host was awesome. There was a some issue with booking but host was quickly sorted out. Property was immaculately cleaned, maintained and beautifully picturesque village. Food was awesome too. Huge thank you for an awesome experience. I will recommend anyone to visit and enjoy this hidden gem in a small village. Easy access to motor way. Thank you」

「Before you book, know that the primary business here is as a VERY popular family friendly pub! Most of the staff were very nice and helpful, though there's an expectation that you already know things and the anticipation that you are going to ask things that are wildly off target. The room was spacious and fairly comfortable, though needing a bit of attention--peeling paint, saggy loveseat, better pillows.
