The Midtown Hotel MOD Collection by Sonesta
8/10 Good
"Mi habitación estaba sucia. No la habían limpiado luego de que otros huéspedes la usaran. Luego estuvo muy bien. Desayuno muy pobre y temprano. El personal atento pero no muy amable. No tiene elevador hasta el primer piso por lo que debes subir tus valijas por escalera sin ayuda. Es un lindo hotel pero le faltan detalles Ñ."
Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge
10/10 Excellent
"Location, service, amenities …just perfect"
Hotel Commonwealth
8/10 Good
"We stayed at Hotel Commonwealth because we were visiting Boston for a Red Sox game, and the location was excellent for that. It’s an easy walk to Fenway Park, and the surrounding neighborhood is really nice with plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby. The check-in experience was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated the complimentary Path water bottles, which were especially nice to be able to refill throughout our stay. The beds were also very comfortable. One disappointment was the “stadium view” room. We paid extra for a room advertised as having a view of Fenway, but the only part of the stadium we could actually see was the back green wall. I don’t think the room should be advertised as a stadium-view room or priced at a premium for that view. The hotel’s hallways could also use some refreshing—the carpet looked dingy and worn. Another improvement would be having a restaurant that serves breakfast. The only breakfast option was room service, so it would have been nice to have a casual restaurant or café where guests could sit down for breakfast. The complimentary coffee and tea bar in the morning was a nice touch, though. Overall, Hotel Commonwealth is a great choice if you’re staying in Boston for a game at Fenway because of the location. The comfortable beds, friendly service, and nice neighborhood were definite positives, but I think the hotel could improve the rooms, hallways, and breakfast options."
Courtyard by Marriott Boston Brookline
8/10 Good
"The $70 parking cost coupled with the high nightly rate was pretty ridiculous, but this is a good place to stay if you have the money and need to be in Brookline."
Hilton Garden Inn Boston Brookline, MA
10/10 Excellent
"Quiet, clean, and great location near the Longwood medical campus. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful"
Beacon Inn 1750

"The location is pretty close to the train station; and the room is clean and staff is very friendly."
Coolidge Corner Guest House
10/10 Excellent
"Easy, clean room, best for just sleeping there. And if you wanna sleep in this isn’t the spot, could hear other guests moving about in the AM hours, not an issue for us as we had to be out the door for 9am. On site parking is a narrow driveway that can fit 3 small vehicles. We were expecting on site parking as listed in description but parked our big pickup truck on the street, thankful we didn’t get a ticket as technically there is no overnight on street parking. Overall good experience."
184 Heath St
8/10 Good
"It is what it is, and what it is is a decent cheap place to stay in Boston. The room was tiny. Two single beds, an outlet to charge your phone and a window AC unit. I had to climb two steep flights of stairs to get to my room, but that was ok with me. One time I had to wait on the shared bathroom, but I managed. If you will only need the room for sleeping it’s totally fine. Get out and explore the city. I did. There’s a few good restaurants within walking distance. Fenway is less than two miles so an easy uber there and then a nice walk home (since Ubers are crazy after the game or show). It doesn’t look like much from outside, but again if you’re only there to sleep, who cares? Check in was a little clunky. My original directions for self check in did not include my room number so I had to call and text several times to get that, but once I got it I had no issues. I’d stay again if I was traveling solo. My wife would never stay there, but she’s less adventurous than me. And truth be told, if she were there I’d want to stay in a nicer place. My friends stayed at the Marriott for $900 for two nights. I was in and out at 184 Heath for under $200. Plenty of nearby street parking for free. I parked within a block with no issues."
