Bed and breakfasts should be quirky, and this one is. The common areas are lovely, and the kitchenette had enough to help us through a Traider Joe's dinner. The location has plenty of food to walk to, from stores to restaurants. The rooms are all lovely. Some have en suites, some do not.

My room was great - very charming. Breakfast was good - also a charming dining room to eat in. Two things to be aware of - neither the two porches on the front of the house, nor the backyard are useable for guests. So, while you are in an also charming neighborhood there is nowhere outside to sit and enjoy it. Also, the steps to the room are rather steep.

The staff was all spectacular and the rooms were so cute and clean. The breakfast was smaller than I imagined but still great. Everything felt safe and cozy. And using the laundry machines was free which was way better than a hotel!!

I loved my stay at Coolidge Corner Guest House. Lovely cozy room, cleaned every day, convenient access to laundry, friendly staff, convenient location, and wonderful breakfast in a charming dining room.

Breakfast was good, room was OK. Overall, the house gave a good vibe of an old Victorian style house. Even though everything inside is quite outdated. But it’s way overpriced for what you’re getting. Parking was quite a mess. For additional $18 you get a spot. But it’s a narrow side driveway so cars end up blocking each other. The staff did a great job helping with this. But… I didn’t expect to deal with it considering the cost. It would be an excellent option to stay if priced right in my opinion.

I loved staying here Melissa the housekeeper was super nice, friendly very helpful when she had the whole house very clean always willing to help. The house felt very comfortable and very home feeling love the furniture the vintage feel/vibe. Close enough to the Red Sox Stadium definitely will be back and stay here again. The breakfast was amazing. They always had milk orange juice, granola bars, bagels everything was always clean and on point thank you so much for letting me stay there. I will definitely be back and the bathroom was super nice and clean too and the rooms as well.
My Room loved the style bathroom was right next to me.

Everything about this place was perfect. The house is decorated with a refreshing and consistent theme, the room we stayed in had a comfy bed and good insulation, the bagels and coffee in the morning are delightful, and the hosts who were there until 8pm were very helpful and made everything easy. My girlfriend was visiting from out of town and thanks to these factors we were able to have a fantastic valentines weekend.

Our room very old, including furniture with squeaky bed and chair. FYI, no a/c., but was not needed this time of year, so not a problem for us. Overall it did the trick and there morning spread was nice, although we had other plans so did not partake.

This is a well located, clean, and affordable Brookline option. It is a good budget choice and feels very clean, safe, and comfortable. Given the historic nature of the building, it has a cozy and charming design that is not for people who need modern. There is central air conditioning, which was perfect and cooled the room (number 8) nicely. The breakfast was a nice touch, but as a health-focused vegetarian foodie, there wasn't a lot for me, although I did like the oatmeal and bagels. I really need a good quality strong coffee over Folgiers drip and went out for coffee, but there was a nice tea selection. If you are sensitive to noice/privacy, I would opt for a larger room on the third floor. Room 8 was small and comfortable, but right next to the kitchen. Although the house was very quiet, I might have preferred something more out of the way for a bit of a higher price. In the end, with earplugs, I slept very well and did not hear any noise until some light 7am stirring in the kitchen.

This is an okay budget option. I was thinking charming vintage aesthetic. I love a good, creaky Victorian! But it is more dingy thrift store aesthetic. Bad 80s decor applied to a Victorian and narrow spaces. I could hear strangers’ every word and breathing at night in adjoining rooms (through locked connecting doors).
