We had a great experience! Went to Boston for the Red Sox game, and it was the perfect location without being in a loud area. Walking distance to Fenway, and close to everything you could possibly need. The hotel staff went above and beyond, and the hotel itself was beautiful. Highly recommend!!

The property is in a fantastic location for getting to some of the best sites and restaurants in Boston. The Elliot is not your typical corporate hotel lodging. It’s a throwback to a different time when accommodations and staff were truly guest-focused. It’s beautiful, clean, safe, quiet, and convenient. This was our first stay at the Elliot but it definitely won’t be the last.

It’s a good hotel overall. The rooms could definitely use a little renovation—they feel a bit worn out, and the carpets have some stains. The hotel staff is great, though, and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The location on Commonwealth Ave. is perfect for local attractions and restaurant and is wonderful for being able to take strolls on the central walkway of the avenue. The staff was very accommodating, and the room itself was beautiful and very comfortable. Additionally, by staying at the Eliot Hotel, we were able to make breakfast reservations at the Harvard Club immediately next door which was a treat in itself with a beautiful dining room in an historic setting. Should we return to Boston there is no question that we would stay at the Eliot Hotel again.

The Eliot in Boston was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff was so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and in a fantastic location for exploring Boston. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay special, and we truly appreciated the wonderful hospitality. The Elliot Hotel is a wonderful historic boutique hotel with nice size rooms and suite option (great for families). The location is convenient and the staff are lovely! It does not have a traditional bar or restaurant. Uni is an amazing Asian restaurant (make a reservation it is very popular) but closes early and does not serve lunch.

There isn’t an employee of this hotel that does not greet you when you are walking past them. That’s a total class act in my opinion. I also found the location to be ideal, just off of Newbury Street where all the action happens. We got upgraded to a suite, and that was a pleasant surprise… thanks to everyone for making us feel at home.
