「House was good. Well laid out rooms, good space and well kitted out. Was exactly what we needed for a 40somethings friends weekend away. House is clean and decor is fine, although does look like someone has ram raided Dunelm and then scattergunned it all over. Quite a lot of peeling wallpaper and tired wall art. We enjoyed the stay and then the owner decided to try and scam us out of our deposit for a "broken chair". A chair which wasn't even there. Its in the advertised photos but we never saw...

「Whilst the bed linen was clean the carpet has many questionable stains. No cups or spoons in the room. Whilst having a coffee out of a glass seems very cosmopolitan, when the newest coffee is 2 months out of date it makes you wonder when the room was last cleaned properly. 」

「Bad: The drawer and the kettle are not clean...should be improved more. Good: 1. Breakfast is very good and the chef is nice. 2. Bathroom is clean and tidy.」

「Convenient location and very clean inside (a bit shabby exterior). Strange accommodation set up and room layout let this place down - single bathroom only accessible through the tiny kitchen, no kitchen worksurfaces, no forks?! Communication / check-in very good and friendly.」

「I was unable to get any response from the host despite over 7 attempts during the day to get the access code or advise them of my time of arrival as advised by Hotels.com. This meant I was unable to access/use the apartment I paid for. Following a complaint outlining times/how I attempted to contact the host I was advised I was getting no refund with no justification. This feels unacceptable.」

「We loved our stay at Hampton Manor. The rooms were so comfortable and the hotel is set in beautiful grounds. The most memorable part were the staff at the hotel. They went above and beyond to make our stay as relaxing and easy as possible. They had thought through all the details that make things extra special. We also asked for recommendations in Birmingham and Beth was incredibly helpful and we loved her lunch suggestion. We would love to return some day! Thank you Hampton Manor.」

「There was hair in the bath so I couldn’t have a shower but my partner still had a shower and then we checked out around 3 instead of the actual time which was 11 the stafff was amazing very welcoming I would like to come again but I hope the room will be more clean when visiting as I did enjoy the pool and the garden 」
