Staff at check in are always friendly, and really convenient for the university
The receptionist at the hotel was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and warm. The location is perfect for staying near campus. Not a bad price either.
Very good location for visiting family in Harborne, free parking available, lovely evening meal in the bar, reception for check in over road from Peter Scott House but literally a 2 minute walk

Reception staff very helpful. Room excellent and very well appopinted - hair dryer, aron, ironing board, safe. Warm.
Beds slide out from the wall if you happen to push on the headboard. Otherwise very comfortable.
As usual everything was perfect. Great breakfast buffet, clean room even though we were put in a disabled room. I did query this and the manager was very apologetic and did not know how this had happened. We have stayed at Peter Scott many times and can't fault the staff enough. Also stayed in The Edgebaston Park Hotel across the road .

Good location and excellent breakfast, though a bit dated interior
I rated it overall at 5 stars but if posible I’d give it 5and a half stars since the issues are easy to fix.
There were a few cosmetic issues in bathroom (eg cracked base of shower) and the shower head itself needs replacing or fixing because it occasionally gave spirts of cold and hot water.
But it was a still much better than other rooms we’ve stayed for a similar price close to the university.
Breakfast was good, service was very good but 2 main concerns, the bottom of my show had a lot of rust in the base and the security is zero as key is same for the front door and your room key so everyone is sharing one key. Never seen that anywhere before
Hi the room was clean. We had a TV, a kettle and it was quiet. We had a disabled badge so the parking was free. We Will definitely use again when we visit our daughter at the university.
You have to check in at the hotel over the road - it's not far but was the only reason for not giving 5 stars.
Attending my daughters graduation at the university so an ideal location as just a short walk to campus.
Rooms were well equipped with all we needed and clean.
Use of facilities at the hotel opposite was a bonus.
Excellent staff and delicious bar/dining options. Room was lovely, with beautiful views of the gardens, only negative was very dated and shabby bathroom.
Really convenient for activity at university sports centre. So convenient and great location, very peaceful surroundings, yet on convenient bus route in to town…
The room was very basic- its an annexe of the main hotel and is obviously very well used. The shower tray was damaged and worn and a bit dated, but clean. The decor in the communal area was also tired. The hotel was handy for the uni which it was what i wanted. Main downside was the noise of the central heating or water or something. There was an intermittent rumbling or thrum all night which spoilt the stay. I would go back but avoid room 210!
The main hotel was where we had breakfast and it was fine. The bar area was also nice.
Rooms great, price was great, very clean. Only confusing bit is on arrival to where reception is. Ok you get a message telling you but it’s not very useful when driving and following a Sat nav. Should really be in the hotel description. Especially when you arrive and Peter Scott House doesn’t say anything about being a hotel and signage points to the other hotel across the road :-)
Perfect accommodation for a visit to the university. Quiet and comfortable and a good price. Room was good but the bathroom possibly needs a makeover, although I think we had an accessible room.
