"Booking is made on Expedia, but the you complete the registration on another site. Shower is built into a very small closet. Toilet is on the other side - in another closet. You have to straddle the toilet to use a hand basin that barely fits my hands and it's not possible to wash your face in it without splashing water all over the floor. Entrance way through to the room is in shockingly poor condition. Not the welcome one would hope to see. I would not recommend this room."

Kitchen tap unit spins as you use it. Plug in sink does not seal - you had to run water continually to wash dishes. One kitchen light flickers then goes off - poor overall kitchen lighting. "Nice hotel. Great location. Easy check in. Friendly reception staff. We were given a disabled room (not disabled) but great sized bathroom. A shame the dove soap by one of the sinks was watered down. Disappointing for a 4 star. Good choice at breakfast. Staff a bit keen on clearing our table. Still had full cups of coffee and juice. Returned after collecting more food and our table had been cleared. We were lucky no one sat in our seats. Overall a good stay and would definitely stay here again."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Village Hotel Solihull! The hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the facilities are excellent. The location is fantastic and very convenient, and the large amount of parking available is a real bonus. The kids really enjoyed the stay too, which made it even more enjoyable for us. Overall, a great hotel and a lovely experience - we would definitely stay again!"
