「Nice and spacious room. My only 'complaint' is that when we checked in we were told that breakfast was included. I didn't select this option but as I booked a number of hotels for our trip I didn't recall each one. Wish they had been clearer but the breakfast was both good and reasonably priced. I would definitely suggest staying here if you are in the area.」

「As a single disabled woman with a little dog, i have felt safe and comfortable here. The staff are fantastic. The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is quiet and beautiful. The other hotel guests are quiet. There is a lovely atmosphere. I have a bath tub. The grounds are lovely. The outside of the property is stunning and old. Inside is very modern. Huge car park. 「The soundproof was not good at all. During late evening and early in the morning, the footsteps from upstairs were SO LOUD. We could not sleep well due to the noise. The squeaking sound was crazy, as the guests kept walking. Sound proof of walls on the same floor was ok, not silent, but totally acceptable. Apart from the noise, everything is fine. 「Lovely place, easy to find and parking was easy with just a short walk - the room was lovely, as were the staff and breakfast! Unfortunately I had a bit of a rough night as although I was placed into room 8 which was advised as one of the quieter rooms (I couldn’t hear the road or trains or anything in this room) a neighbour/other guest upstairs was making lots of noise into the night which I appreciate the hosts cannot necessarily help」
