"The rooms were huge, more like suites, and well apportioned. Hot tub and welcome bottle of champagne were nice. Pools were lovely and the entertainment staff were awesome! There was a planned power outage on one day for a few hours where the staff arranged a foam party at the pool and added additional grill options for lunch. The evening entertainment was very high quality, in particular the trapeze acrobats and the singers. The food was very good, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The drinks at the pool were weak. The beach area was not great - rocky water and very narrow strip of beach with the usual seaweed issues."

"We recently stayed at Ocean Riviera Paradise in Playa del Carmen and had a wonderful vacation overall. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers plenty to do for both families and couples. We especially enjoyed the large pools, nightly entertainment, and the variety of restaurants available. The grounds were clean, and the staff members were friendly, hardworking, and always willing to help. We are already looking forward to coming back and seeing the wonderful staff members who made our stay even more special—William, Luis, Victor, and Capitán Meneses. Their kindness, attentiveness, and warm hospitality truly made us feel welcome, and we can’t wait to visit again."

"Our first time at the Valentin and it did not disappoint. We had a swim up suite and the room was amazing. Huge bathroom and shower. The bar staff at the pool were all great and very attentive. We saw the famous iguana, Kevin, and he’s quite impressive. Beautiful grounds, lots of wildlife and birds. Food was great. It is a little difficult to find the concierge sometimes to make a reservation for the Hibachi restaurant but we just showed up one night and had no problem getting a seat. The spa was really nice, we had a really nice couple’s massage. We also had a beautiful beach dinner on our last night. It was a great vacation and we would definitely go back again."
