"We decided to extend our stay for two more nights and moved from Sunscape Resort to Krystal Cancun, and honestly I wish we hadn’t. The staff were not very helpful and the check-in process was extremely long, with absolutely no direction on where to go even when we asked for assistance. The food, despite paying for an all-inclusive package, was a disaster — very little variety, most dishes were cold, and the staff were again not helpful. Many items surprisingly weren’t included, and at one restaurant that was supposed to be included, the service was extremely poor. At the end, we were given a bill to sign for what we ordered. When I double-checked it, I noticed the staff had added extra items we never ordered. When questioned, they were clearly caught off guard. It made me wonder how many guests might sign without checking, especially when they assume everything is included. Unfortunately, the staff showed no remorse. To top off our two-night stay, at 5 AM on our last night there was loud hammering and breaking noise for about an hour, sounding like construction or some sort of maintenance. It completely ruined our rest. Overall, this has been one of the worst places I’ve stayed at."

"We checked in on Saturday and Monday renovations to the hotel started. We were not informed of this prior to or upon check in. We moved to a new hotel 1 day later with the excellent customer service we received from Expedia."

"The room was slightly clean. The only good thing about this property was the location and the view. You get what you pay for. Will not be revisiting."

"It is an all-inclusive property. But anything not included is much more expensive than in US. I had a food poison after eating the sushi in the buffet. When I called the front desk for help I was told the on site doctor would charge 150 dollars per visit and 30 more if you want the doctor come to see you in your room. All the food and drinks I took was inside the property and I have to pay myself for their negligence on the food safety. On the hand this property is kids friendly. They have separate play area for kids in the lobby and buffet restaurant. The kids club also have daily activities prepared for little ones."

"Could not believe they supply a coffee machine but no coffee! Only hotel in multiple across Mexico 15 day trip to disappoint. When trying to get coffee for machine told by reception go to dinning room to buy. Dining room told me go to reception or shop! Shop only has instant coffee which is horrible!"
