"our room was decent, the bathroom had a real door rather than those stupid sliding ones modern hotels have these days. the shower was nice. many of our outlets did not work, and the mini fridge was simply not plugged in… and inaccessible for us to do so ourselves. but we managed without and with the other outlets that did work. the breakfast bar was fine, bare bones essentials that were better than a “continental breakfast” (bagged muffins and coffee). did the job so you could save a few bucks. staff was nice enough! the refillable water stand broke on our second day, so we had to source water bottles from the corner store (one of them nearby has 99 cent bottles, while the hotel has $3 bottles) to stay hydrated. overall, expect a small room (normal for nyc lodging) and comfortable enough amenities. satisfied with my experience for the price! theres shopping within walking distance, the N & R subway station pretty closeby, and lots of cute cafes and corner stores. would consider staying again!"
