"The room was very dusty. The loft steps looked like it hadn’t been mopped or dusted for months. The hot water in the shower did not work. After running the water for more than 10minutes, the water was still dirty. The refrigerator wasn’t working. I had to turn it on when I arrived but by morning the fridge was no longer on and my dog’s food was spoiled. This is my 4th timing staying here and the experience just gets worse and worse. The only reason I return is because my event is so close by. Otherwise, I would never return to this hotel. They need to hire better cleaning crew. And why does the elevator not work after 10pm?"

"We had a fantastic stay. The restaurant was amazing. We literally went every single day. My only issue was the fact that the ice machines did not work and the staff did not know which floors did work. I had tried four different floors before I found an ice machine that actually worked. We went to the Brooklyn Paramount, which was a five minute walk. It was a five minute walk to the subway the bagel place on the corner was fantastic. There was a Goodwill and a Dunkin around the block. The valet staff were awesome and that process was exceptionally easy if I go back to Brooklyn again I would 1000% stay here."

"We love 1Hotel. This was our fourth visit. However, this visit was different. From the loud music playing until two oclock in the morning, to the garbage left behind outside the entrance to the nightclub, the vibe was not at all what we experienced previously during our trips to Brooklyn. We sincerely hope the decision to use the upstairs floor as a nightclub is reconsidered. Being kept awake by loud music is not acceptable. Also, there was a bag of trash sitting on top of the trashcan for two days.Such a shame for this beautiful hotel. Attention to detail is what made this hotel so special."
