「We had a really nice 2 night stay, we checked in earlier as our room was ready, which was a lovely start. The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful. We enjoyed some nice food in the atrium bar, a lovely afternoon tea in the 1853 restaurant. And some nice 6 oclock gin on the terrace - all with fantastic service. 「The staffs are all very friendly, the areas around hotel are very safe, parking is easy just right to the hotel and we found everything we needed in our room. However, I think the hotel room is a bit dated and need a renovation. 」

「This hotel is a little gem and provided us with a perfect stop over on our way to Dorset for a holiday. We arrived around 7.30pm and the check in process was friendly and efficient. Our room (number 58) was spacious, beautifully decorated and had a lovely balcony plus an extra window, as we were on the corner of the building. The bed was very comfortable. Although there is an option to eat at the hotel, we chose to explore a little and ate at The Wookey Hole Inn, just a few minutes walk away....
