「The sound insulation of the room is very poor.」

「The hotel is really old, which probably explains the poor soundproofing. The bedding was also super uncomfortable, so I didn’t sleep well at all. Worse, I woke up with red rashes all over my body. Compared to other hotels nearby, this place is just not worth the price. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it. 」

「Avondale is in a great location, right across from the promenade and beach -- and within easy walking distance of the Washington Street Mall and other attractions. The room was clean and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well and was quiet.」

「We really enjoyed our stay here. Loved that there was an elevator so anyone on the 2nd or 3rd floor didn't have to lug luggage up stairs. Really appreciated the free beach passes, the lovely pool, and the live music at the Rusty Nail. Everything was just easy and relaxing.」

「The place is quiet, immaculately clean, and close to the beach. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The owner also was gracious enough to move my reservation by a week due to a work conflict, which was great. I did not give it a full star rating only because it did not have a door on the closet, the fridge and TV were plugged into a power strip and as a fireman, I know that is against code. I also was up with the sun because they did not have blackout curtains, only a vertical blind....

「I liked the tile floors. Quiet time is 10PM. I've been to other places in Wildwood as my family has been going for years. I've seen what it means to be loud with teenagers, etc. I know what it means to have young kids and want quiet nights. I was sitting outside my room with my daughter (11 years old) and she made a joke. I laughed. Not even a minute later I had someone come over to yell at me to be quiet. It was totally unnecessary.」

「Small rooms but recently renovated and very clean. Exterior was not so inviting. Only other downside is the minifridge and microwave were small and so was closet space. Good for short stays.」
