"We stayed here for the location and for that it was wonderful- just across the street from beach access. It was outdated, however, and cramped, but all things considered, given that location was most important to us- A+. We were happily surprised to find it came with plates and silverware and a stove with burners and a microwave- if I had known I would have packed more food to prepare a meal. A great stay- thank you. "

"The Calypso is easy to get in and out of and has plenty of shared parking. Loved the kitchen efficiency room that we stayed in this time around. We will definitely be back !! "

"Old motel. Well kept. Two blocks from the boardwalk and beach. Easy access to food, shopping, entertainment. Too few plug points for charging devices was the only downside I noticed."

"overall was a good stay, hotel staff customer service good. the vending machine in the photo is out of order, when I pushed the button for water it didn't display price. Room was good, Cable TV is above average for hotel channel offerings, a good system, had MLB channel and NFL network for free. Window AC unit worked fine, took humidity out of air."

"I wouldn't say dirty, but def older and run down ans i wasnt expecting that bc people raved reviews online of how great ut was for families. Prices were great, room wasnt dirty but old and im sorry but a room shoudlnt smell like a old musty basement and with my allergies it was very hard to breathe. I even went to the store to get some aur freshning prodcuts to help cut the smell while we were there "

"During a hurricane it was still nice! The location is perfect. You can walk almost everywhere. Boardwalk always wonderful no matter the weather. The room was adorable and bed comfy. Only issue was tv. I asked for help but didn’t get it. I had Roku tv which I’m not very used to. Couldn’t ever access regular cable tv to watch my football. But I figured some things out with the help of a 12 year old sweet girl in the next room. At least I got to walk the beach several times and see some blue sky in...
