Awful customer service. No heat in rooms. Rented a room for wrestling weekend, and had to transfer to a different hotel with working heat. The east coast is experiencing a very cold winter, which I get, but other competitors had working heat. Hotel is refusing to give full refund even though we did not stay there, due to their policy of notifying within 24 hours. How were we supposed to know they had 0 heat?! Expedia cannot override the vendors policy and offered a $50 credit towards a future stay. Both Monaco and Expedia should be ashamed for expecting children to stay in below 30 degree sleeping conditions.

Check In was a breeze. The woman was nice friendly but the room the TV can only get one channel there was heat, but you couldn’t adjust it and it blew very hot constantly. You couldn’t open the window because it was broke. There were no extra blankets and to top it off there was no hot water so you couldn’t take a shower or a bath.

The room had only 1 ripped up lamp not near the bed. The tv’s have disrupted behavior. And other little things that were annoying. There was no one there to check us in. Another couple had to track them down to get them there. Only a couple of rooms were clean because maids called out sick. The stairs looked like they would collapse if you climbed them. People were running around outside throughout the night. It really was quite the experience just being there. Wouldn’t go again unless they really improved everything. It’s a shame because the location is great.

The staff were very nice people, but the building is old, with a very narrow set of stairs to the 2nd floor covered in semi-loose carpet that can make you trip. The door only had the door knob lock (the deadbolt was painted over and the key didn't work) and the safety latch was missing the part that attaches to the door). Stained mattress, tiny bathroom, scratched up, cheap, unmatched furniture, and garbage on display in front of the extremely limited parking. No in-room phone, only 1 lamp for the entire room, no 24-hour staff (office closes at 11pm). I won't stay here again.

By far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Sink was falling off the wall. Toilet wouldn’t flush unless you were sitting on it. Tiles were missing on the bathroom wall. The beds were both taco’d in the center. The main door wouldn’t lock on the dead bolt. I also did not give my keys to the hotel to have access to my vehicle, thought it was a bad idea then. Still think it’s a bad idea. So have fun paying 25$ to park overnight across the street.

the location was great. Near the boardwalk. the room was dated and in need of some renovation. the door had to be slammed to close, the bathroom was missing tiles, the toilet seat was chipped, the sink wasn't sturdy in the wall, the air conditioner was missing molding, the microwave was dirty, the refrigerator was missing shelves, the TV remote was missing batteries, i liked the floors and the beds were comfortable.
