「The property is old and tired. Check-in was meh, checkout was worse—clerk was sleeping in front lobby chair, didn’t apologize for the issues I encountered. My first mistake was not realizing this was a motor inn vs. a hotel. However I needed a dry place to sleep—that was a 10/10. However, the room was below basic standards today, poor room lighting, thin bathroom linen, and barely average pillows. 「A unique and historic building..our room had a wonderful view of the 'little' falls bordered by beautiful brick buildings harking back to the days of the woolen mills. staff was extremely helpful and kind with all of our questions and requests. very nice set up for their continental breakfast and made for easy conversation with other guests in their large and airy conference room that also is used for eating in the morning.」

「The surrounding area looks economically depressed and we had some initial concerns about safety. Check in was easy. We were provided with two keys for the front door and room door. The house is well maintained and in keeping with original design. We stayed in the wine and roses room which is next door to the kitchen. If you like to sleep in, this is not the room for you due to breakfast noise. The breakfast was good and timely. There was a hot option (bread pudding and chicken and herb sausage)...
