Location is great. Things are very dated and it didn’t smell the greatest. The ac was awful and was super loud. The room worked if what we needed it for but overall wasn’t great.

We've been coming here for over forty years and always stay in the upper lake view rooms. The staff has always been very nice and helpful. When the blackflies are out you really appreciate the screened in porch!

Room 1 needs to have the door handle/lock replaced. The key would spin around and around and you would have to catch it just right to unlock. The AC needs to be replaced also. The room was a good value for the price and within walking distance to everything in town.

We booked for the 90 Miler Canoe Classic and we will NEVER book to stay here again. We would encourage every other racer to find a different place. The main office staff were incredibly rude and combative and planned to refuse us our stay due to walking our dog on their property. The dog was never going to stay on the site but the front desk woman refused to listen to what we shared with her. Later in the evening they refused a young family with a baby to stay as well. I have never been treated so poorly at a hotel/motel before. Matters got worse when we did decide to stay and entered the room. The room smelled on mold and mildew, the beds were uncomfortable, there was mold on the shower ceiling, and bugs flying around in the room. The only perk was the proximity to the beginning of the canoe race. I hope the health inspector comes and shapes up Clark Beach Motel because they are running themselves into the ground and should be ashamed. Clearly there was a reason as to why they were not sold out during such a busy event. NOT worth the $230, what a rip off.
