"Pros: This was a nice stay at a great weekday price. The staff were friendly and flexible with our schedule needs. The beds were comfy and fresh. You could text them if you needed anything, but 1 out of 3 times they did not get back to me. There are restaurants on the property, which is nice. We didn't have time to try them though. There's a pool with a view of the beach and ocean. The hotel is on the ocean, obviously. There's free (unsecured )Wifi. You can borrow bicycles for free. Cons: Most of these are minor. The one that was pretty annoying was a constant drip of some kind of liquid from the balcony above ours. It seemed like water, but I'm not sure. It was all over our balcony. I texted the staff about it, with no response . When I pressed zero on the room phone, the busy signal came on. So I gave up.The dripping went on for hours and we couldn't really step out on the balcony. But the balcony is very small. It's just a little space one or two people can stand on. When we got there the first night we had to feel around in the dark to find the switches to enough lights to see. The bathroom door slides into the wall to open and it does not latch closed or lock. There's no way to turn on the shower without getting soaked with cold water in the process. There was only one coffee mug in the room (ceramic) and they had a Keurig. But there were only 2 free bottles of water. The air conditioner did not keep up with the hot weather. Overall though it was as good experience!"

"Other reviews are telling the truth when they say this hotel is VERY CLEAN! You can tell the housekeepers take great pride in making sure every room is spotless. It's not outdated at all and looks even better in person than the pictures online show. Check-in and checkout were super simple and fast! The ac was super quiet and kept the room very cool even on a sweltering day with high humidity. The pool was small but relaxing when we couldn't be at the beach due to a storm. The hotel is in walking distance to several excellent restaurants and breakfast places, which is convenient as breakfast is not offered here. The neighborhood and hotel itself is very quiet and family-oriented. Everyone was asleep at decent hours and I wasn't woken up at all by any noises, not even the street sounds as it's a quiet area. The hotel is also situated on the beach side of the highway, so it's a a very quick and safe walk down a small residential type street to the beach access. Of all the beach spots between Dewey and Ocean City, this is by far the least crowded, most clean, and quiet. It had the feel of being very private. There is also a lifeguard on duty at this beach access. Some cons were the uncomfortable beds (the mattress sounded like a blowup mattress for some reason and was very hard), the very slow wifi (the tv only has wifi channels), and the scratchy toilet paper. "

"It was very nice & everything was clean, just a block away from the beach, within walking distance to food, shopping & activities. The breakfast was very good, plenty of options. It only had a small indoor pool, but we enjoyed our stay very much."
