「Lovely hotel with spacious and spotlessly clean bedrooms. Our only negative experience is that on our day of check out we thought we would have a drink at the hotel bar before heading home. We had been perusing the drinks on offer for a few minutes without being acknowledged so we asked the barman if the bar was open (it had gone midday) and he said it was supposed to be but he wasn’t ready. He was completely indifferent and gave no indication of how long we might need to wait so we left and...

The dinners and breakfasts provided by the TING restaurant are excellent. The front desk also offers service in fluent Chinese and English. Other Shangri-La hotels should consider this establishment's service standards as a worthwhile example to emulate.」
