"Our best experience in Costa Rica. Phenomenal birding area. Exceptional restaurant! We stayed in the Casona and were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation and beautiful views of Lake Arenal and the volcano from our room. "This was a wonderful first stop on our vacation as is it was midway betweeen San Jose and La Fortuna. We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. It was a highlight of our trip!"

"Everything was perfect with this place, such a beautiful place overlooking the volcano from my bedroom. The garden with lots of flowers and trees were a real treat. We had a visit from a gentle dog who stayed with us for a while."
