Room had no hot water. Staff came to fix it and walked all over our room with muddy shoes. Fixing it took a long time. In the morning we went to shower and once again no hot water. What a disappointing experience

Very clean room, staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. No hot water in bathroom sink made washing and shaving more difficult. Grounds were beautiful, pool very well kept.

The Arenal Country Inn was a wonderful place to stay! It is conveniently located to the town and the room was very comfortable! It could use a few more hooks to hang clothes and someplace to put suitcases instead of the floor. But overall the room did meet our needs and held our family of four nicely. I would request to have the bottles for body wash and hand wash filled up since we ran out of body wash and it was never filled. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed it daily for 8 days! The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They helped us book a tour and it worked out beautifully! The restaurant next door delivers and we got to enjoy pizza next to the pool. La Fortuna was great and this place is very conveniently located and having breakfast each day really helped us make the most of each day there !!

The property is clean and well maintained with a very large pool area. The location is just outside of town making it a bit more quiet. Like much of CR, it sorely lacks comfortable seating. The room had a couple of steel ladder back chairs, even the pool settees are uncomfortable with nary a cushion in sight. They offer a nice breakfast with the best hotel coffee in CR.

We stayed 7 nights. The property is nice and clean, close to everything, healthy breakfast, nice staff. The reason I leave 4 stars is that there are NO LAUNDRY FACILITIES on site. You can get this service for an additional charge or you can search for other options outside the property.

Very pleasant stay and beautiful surroundings, close to the city. However, it would be important to install a mixer tap for the shower. The mixer is an outdated system and absolutely not practical. In addition, the quality of the meals served for delivery by your partner restaurant is deplorable.
