"Room was clean but walls are super thin and the air conditioning is horrible. Could hear neighbors nearly every night at late hours, at one point someone was smoking and the smell went into the room. Great location, parking is easy."

"The breakfast was decent, but I chose this hotel because it presents itself as family-friendly and it lacked some basic things.**There were no high chairs for babies in the breakfast area, even though many families were staying there and all the babies had to sit on their parents’ laps. Also, I didn’t agree with the extra parking fee. In a place like Santa Cruz where parking is limited, it feels unnecessary to charge guests for parking when the hotel already has its own spaces. It would make more sense to include it in the room rate."

"My stay here was fabulous, the location was ideal for solo travel (WITH kids lol), the staff were friendly and kind ( my door dash order came without utensils and staff opened the eating area so I could get some). The only down side was the pool being under construction, but the beach was a 6 minute drive, so we made it work. The room was comfortable and roomy enough for the munchkins and I. We will definitely return for another awesome adventure. Capitola is a beautiful, quiet and safe city. It was a peaceful trip for all involved. "

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The property was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The staff members were all very polite, helpful, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The only thing I would suggest reconsidering is the check-in time. Check-in starts at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM, which makes the stay feel a bit short. An earlier check-in time would make the experience more comfortable for guests, especially for those arriving earlier in the day."
