Very clean, good service, large room. It is right off the Cancun-Tulum highway and good place to stay if you are on your way further south. Good choice for Playa if you have transport to beach, ferries, 5th avenue.

A good deal a bit away from the center.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Angelo's. The room we had was very large at the end of the hall so our balcony wrapped around the building. We stayed for seven nights and each day our room was cleaned and the bed made and two bottles of water were supplied each day. The breakfast was fairly simple and not much variety over the seven days, but the service was wonderful. The man who served us was polite and very efficient. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The pool area was a nice place to relax. The only negative is that it is about a 20 minute walk to the beach area. The area around the hotel is a bit sketchy but the people are friendly. The hotel is a very good deal for the amount of money it charges.

The reviews are accurate

I came on a family trip from southern California where we booked three rooms. We stayed here for 4 nights, and during those 4 nights, we had fantastic service. Everyone that works here is kind and helpful. We did have issues with one of the room's AC and another room's TV. The room with the AC problem needed the remote reprogrammed and it started working fine afterward. The other room had no TV/Cable service but was not much of an issue since we were able to use their super WIFI speeds to stream Netflix/Disney. We also did not bother to have them investigate it. I noticed there are more locals that come here but that made no difference in our stay. Breakfast was decent, nobody had any complaints. The pool pictures are filtered so they appear nicer than what they really look like. However, it is a hotel and not a resort. The water pressure was strong, and the water could stay warm or cold depending on what your looking for. I've stayed at resorts, and this was an issue, but not here. The location was perfect but the area it was in looked sketchy at first, however, we never felt unsafe. Pros: Fast Wifi Speeds Very Clean Breakfast was decent Strong Water Pressure Location (close to Xcaret Parks & shopping centers) Cons: Outdoor Parking Could use a bigger indoor/downstairs pool (pool pictures are filtered) I would stay here again if I came to this area. We chose this location since we only needed a place to sleep while we were out doing activities.

You can not people to a live person at the hotel when fixing a problem about reservation. Couldn't make a change, but they try to bill me 3400 dollars for a 2 night stay located in another country
